UNTAMED
catered campout RETREAT
COWICHAN RIVER BC, Canada
August 15-17, 2027
What's Included in THE
Untamed RETREAT Experience:
Camping Under the Stars: Horseshoe Bend Group Campsite is a private, gated retreat nestled inside Cowichan River Provincial Park. The sprawling site is just steps away from the heritage-designated river. Pitch a tent next the river or park your vehicle just above the main site. Site is filled with towering douglas fir, western hemlock, and western red cedar trees dominate the lush, temperate canopy, with patches of big leaf maple and red alder border the water.
Six Gourmet Vegetarian Meals: Savour delicious, locally-sourced, catered meals that nourish body and soul, provided by the astonishing Shani Cranston.
Free Time to Explore: Wander the forest, swim in the pools, or simply relax and soak in the stunning natural surroundings.
Immersive Sessions
Dance Under the Open Sky: Experience the delight of dancing freely in nature.
Sacred Circles: We will sit in circle together, both practicing the Way of Council and group conversations, plus a little bit of magic.
Partner Work: Connect with others through dyads, where we practice the art of both being witnessed and witnessing.
Creativity Adventure: Play with art supplies and a project, let yourself experience freedom with your creativity, a place to express and play. All supplies provided for activity.
Opportunities for Writing: Explore guided journalling, with prompts and inquiries.
OPTIONAL Opportunity to Tube Down the River: Bring your own tube for an exhilarating experience. A short 15 minute walk up the river allows for a 45-60 minute gentle ride down back to the site.
